- Usage data: We log which tools you use, timestamps, and your approximate country (derived from IP address) to power your dashboard and improve our service.
- Files you process: Images, PDFs, and other files you upload are processed entirely in your browser or on our servers for the sole purpose of running the tool you selected. We do not store, read, or share your files.
- Cookies: We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are set.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the tools on this platform.
- To show you your personal usage history in the dashboard.
- To send transactional emails (password resets, account notifications) — never marketing without consent.
- To analyze aggregate, anonymised usage trends so we can improve existing tools and build new ones.
3. Data Sharing
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We use MongoDB Atlas to store account and usage data. Data is stored on servers within the EU/US regions depending on your location.
- We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
- Account data is retained until you delete your account.
- Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.
- Uploaded files (where applicable) are deleted immediately after processing and are never persisted to disk.
5. Your Rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.
- You may delete your account from your dashboard, which removes all associated personal data within 30 days.
- If you are in the EU/EEA you have rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
6. Security
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
- We conduct periodic security reviews and apply patches promptly.
7. Children
- UnifiedTools Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
